Cinema Hall Sound: Screen Channels, Surrounds and Subs
Screen speakers behind the screen, surround arrays, subwoofers and calibration for cinema halls, mini-theatres and screening rooms.

Cinema sound is a standard, not a style: dialogue anchored to the screen, effects that move around the room and low frequencies that are felt as well as heard, all calibrated so the film sounds as the mixers intended.
Screen channels
Left, centre and right speakers sit behind a perforated screen. Cinema full-range models such as the itc KF-Y215 or KF-Y15 are designed for this position and for high, clean dialogue levels.
Surrounds
Smaller full-range speakers (itc KF-Y10 / KF-Y12) line the side and rear walls in arrays, so every seat hears surround effects evenly rather than from one nearby box.
Low-frequency effects
Cinema subwoofers (itc KF-YS218 / KF-YS18) behind or below the screen reproduce the LFE channel; size them to the room volume and level standard.
Power and calibration
Use high-headroom amplifiers (itc TC-21200) and calibrate every channel for level, delay and EQ at the main listening positions. Re-check after any change to the screen or seating.
